1 · We review your set. For completeness, scale and legibility. On a scan or a photographed set this is also where we check whether there is anything to calibrate scale against.
2 · You get a flat quote and a delivery date. A price for the scope and a date, in writing. There is no charge for this and no obligation once you have it.
3 · Nothing starts until you approve. If your drawings will not support the estimate you asked for, we tell you at that point rather than after you have paid. If a cheaper service would serve you better, we say that too.
